Abstract
Le Réseau canadien de l'environnement (RCEN) or Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) International Program (IP) coordinated a two-day multi-stakeholder dialogue on corporate social responsibility (CSR) in collaboration with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada and with the support of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), the Mining Association of Canada (MAC) and Suncor Energy Inc. This report provides a summary of the meetings. It was agreed that the RCEN-IP would develop a program to pursue multi-stakeholder dialogue to support the implementation of CSR both within Canada and internationally.
