Abstract
The project “Networking Distance Learning Technology Engines for Research”, was planned to support tertiary education using distance learning technologies to deliver accessible and affordable education to the masses with an overall objective of supporting developing countries in the Asian region in converting their ample human resources into human capital. The project was designed as an innovative research network, also known as the “PANdora” network, wherein several sub-projects were undertaken with each sub-project comprising researchers from two or more countries of the region.
