Abstract

The first conference of the Economy and Environment Program for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA) project brought together researchers, government representatives, and donors to showcase instances where EEPSEA research was used to support policy formulation in environment and natural resource management in Southeast Asia. This annual report reviews the conference activities, research fellowship awards, training and partnerships, and some highlights of country reports. It also includes publications and impact stories. The EEPSEA goal is to strengthen local capacity in the economic analysis of environmental problems so that researchers can provide sound advice to policymakers.
