Abstract

The formation of a critical mass or expert group around the issue of gender and work necessitates a process for action towards this stated goal. As this is an evaluation of a project in progress, it focuses on the process aspect of the program. Specific recommendations are referred to in the body of the evaluation, emphasizing the value of ensuring a regional presence, as this serves to integrate and expand information exchange, building capacity by including regional scholars, and eventually creating links with networks in different countries.
