Abstract
Caribbean ICT Virtual Stakeholders Community (CIVIC) “official” communications and documents are translated into three languages (English, French, Spanish). This brief presentation provides information on the processes of Automatic Translation software that can handle email and plain text communication. It also describes input requirements, such as not mixing languages in same paragraph, avoiding abbreviations, metaphors and idiomatic expressions.
