Abstract
The principles and practices involved in advocacy are outlined in this presentation for the Caribbean ICT Virtual Stakeholders Community (CIVIC). Identifying the issues, tools that can help support the action, communication policy, strategies, and current topics for practice are outlined. The slides break down the implementation of advocacy for issues such as: E-inclusion (affordable access); Education and training; Network Readiness; E-government; E-business and development of ICT industries; Research and innovation; Cultural content and creativity; Legislative and policy framework.
