Abstract
Association for Progressive Communications (APC) participates and plays a leading role in the process of enriching current ICT for Development (ICT4D) policy and practice with awareness of environmental sustainability and climate change. APC’s issue papers help civil society organizations in the sector to better understand and respond to these issues. As the world’s oldest online progressive network, a draft guide for NGOs on APC's experience working as a global virtual network was produced. As well an APC-wide action research plan has been developed for APC's research, advocacy and campaigning work in ICTs and environmental sustainability for 2010-2012.
