Enhancing adaptive capacity of pastoralists to climate change-induced vulnerability in Northern Kenya : attachment A; Inception Workshop report

Abstract

The project works to develop local and national capacity to adapt to climate change among vulnerable communities in pastoralist areas, and to provide policy-makers, local pastoralists’ communities and other stakeholders in Turkana and Mandera districts with information and tools for analysis towards policymaking that will allow them to develop effective strategies for adaptation to climate change. The inception workshop discussed purpose and objectives, and provided an abridgment of both policy, legislative and study expectations.
