Abstract
This Uganda Chartered HealthNet (UCH) presentation provides an overview of the process of integrating mobile data collection to improve health information management through the use of information and communication technology. The project equipped health facilities and workers with data collection and communication tools (personal digital assistant or PDA’s). It also deployed appropriate GIS software at district level; trained end users; and assisted in building technical personnel capacity at district and Ministry of Health levels.
