Abstract
The conference provided a forum for African-based entrepreneurs and academicians to present business cases and research findings in relation to the opportunities presented by globalization, as well as the associated challenges. The Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development (CEED) in Nairobi was created to provide critical support to the Enterprise and Business Sector in developing economies, with specific focus on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Africa. The report covers major themes and activities of the conference held at CEED.
