Abstract
The objective was to identify and assess the performance of innovative ICT applications that contribute to effective exchange of knowledge and information between information providers and users in vulnerable communities of Central America, with the ultimate goal of reducing the vulnerability of these communities to floods and droughts while drawing lessons to promote the replication of the experience in similar contexts. The project approach aimed at promoting the establishment of strategies in light of each country’s experience. The Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction for the Americas represents the main regional forum for all parties involved in disaster risk reduction. Annexes to the report are in Spanish.
