Final technical report for the Canada-Latin America and the Caribbean Research Grants (LACREG) program
Abstract
In the fourth phase of the program, LACREG continued to provide small grants that proved crucial to ensuring networking opportunities to potential partners. As a result, established partnerships have been solidified and new collaborations have emerged. This report summarizes research results; aspects of contribution to knowledge from a scientific and policy perspective are highlighted. Several researchers touched on the significant role that community members played in the success of their projects and the importance of working in collaboration with their partners, communities and local leaders. A summary as well as an assessment of project outputs is offered in the Appendix.
