Abstract
The report provides a summary of the four-day workshop featuring speakers from Knowledge Access in Rural Interconnected Areas Network (KariaNet) member countries. It was attended by 39 persons representing KariaNet members and partners, such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), IDRC, IFAD-funded projects in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia, Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, and other invited participants. Project experiences regarding successful technology transfer activities and applied solutions to marketing constraints were exchanged. As well, KariaNet pilot experiences on National Networking and Community ICT mechanisms were reviewed and discussed.
