Abstract

UbuntuNet Alliance is the regional Research and Education Networking organization for Eastern and Southern Africa. Updated membership shows that UbuntuNet Alliance is the regional network backbone that interconnects National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) with other regional networks; and the human network is growing. This newsletter outlines upcoming events for African Research and Education Network traffic, such as website launches, increase in bandwidth, capacity building, workshops and other information pertinent to members of the alliance.
