Abstract
For strengthening agriculture as a driver of rural employment and income diversification, successful cases demonstrate that there was some kind of innovation in products, services, and organization of processes and management. Innovations allowed products or services to reach more dynamic markets, and agricultural dynamism required strong linkages with manufacturers and services. This report documents some examples of successes in rural economies and how they work.
