Abstract

The workshop provided space to examine different models of information and communications technologies for development (ICT4D). A rudimentary model was shared with participants, to be developed further through collaboration. The presentation outlines the agenda for the workshop, and parameters for exploration of the “Power Analysis Model” in terms of Mobile telephony. How are interests compromised in order to reach 'negotiated interests’? Whose interests are being compromised by dominant world views?
