Abstract
This concise presentation outlines Indigenous knowledge and practices that could mitigate climate change impacts. These include: gabions to control soil erosion; dykes to control floods; transhumance grazing practices; rotation of pasture among pastoral communities; rotational and shifting cultivation; intercropping to control pests; and careful selection of seeds. It also includes food storage systems, architectural designs and administrative structure as integrated factors.
