Abstract
The presentation advances the proposition that a formal mechanism is needed to ensure that the knowledge gathered from research is translated into action. The process of bridging the “know-do” gap between producers and users of research is “Knowledge Translation (KT). The Zambian Forum for Health Research (ZAMFOHR) provides four models for linking research to action.
