Abstract:
The report presents findings of an evaluation of the first three years operation of the Investment Climate and Business Environment Research Fund (ICBERF). Recommendations are for establishment of a web-based library of all relevant research related to African investment climate and business environments, and an email-based community of practice for researchers, business environment and private sector development research, plus an increase in its expenditure on the dissemination of funded research. Links to and partnerships between Africa-based researchers and others should also be facilitated through direct support for the supervision of ICBERF-funded projects.
