Abstract

The Institute for Connectivity in the Americas (ICA) is a hemispheric organization that promotes the implementation of innovative uses of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for development. Facilitating knowledge exchange continues to be a key objective of the ICA. At the Caribbean ICT Roundtable event (2002), the ICA brought leading financial institutions together with development partners to discuss joint funding initiatives. Among others, the World Bank, InterAmerican Development Bank, Caribbean Development Bank, UNESCO, and USAID, were in attendance. This newsletter provides news of professional events, newsletters and research support.
