Abstract
The Rural Territorial Dynamics Program is grounded in work done by a large number of partners in 16 territories in 10 countries of Mexico, Central America and South America (2009). This paper outlines the kinds of industry, employment and current issues of each region. The territories illustrate a diversity of development dynamics, illustrative of the rural mosaic of Latin America, protected by sophisticated standards and certification schemes.
