Networks in Nanning : learning to evaluate capacity development for CBNRM; a short cross - visit report.
Abstract
Three networks in the Evaluating Capacity Development (ECD-CBNRM) Community-Based Natural Resources Management project participated in a cross-visit coinciding with a review workshop of the Farmer-Centered Research Network China (FCRNC). The presentation of progress reports on the FCRNC-supported small-grants projects enabled participants to better understand FCRNC efforts to promote farmer-centred research in China. The three participating networks also provided updates on evaluation studies. The small-group discussion and plenary sessions helped each network in internal reflection on how to improve evaluation design and conduct.
