Abstract

Participatory development approaches and themes comprised the content of The Adaptive Learning and Linkages in Community-based Natural Resource Management (ALL in CBNRM) Program. At the learning group and organizational levels, participants valued opportunities to reflect on their experiences together. At the individual level participants acquired: new knowledge and skills on participatory development approaches; increased confidence in carrying out work in CBNRM; and recognition of multiple perspectives of various stakeholders. ALL in CBNRM contributed to improvements in policy and governance, as well as to the ecological conservation of NRM field sites. This comprehensive report provides a synthesis of program activities, outputs and outcomes.
