Abstract
The methodology workshop was designed to launch the research project, bringing the research team together, and providing a forum for interactive discussion, with the overall aim of facilitating production of new knowledge on women’s citizenship that is theoretically and empirically grounded. The main business of the meeting involved establishing the research network and designing the project methodology. The report covers details of discussions, research design and criteria. It is important to ensure that researchers understand the conceptual framework that informs analysis to illuminate the manifestation of citizenship, and or deprivation of citizenship, in women’s lives.
