Abstract
Makes an economic evaluation of the major roots that are produced in selected areas of the Commonwealth Caribbean Region and investigates the possibilities for rationalization of their production. Costs of production, marketing data and related indicators for specific root crops are developed, and trade patterns and relative profitability of sales with brief analysis of prices are assessed.
