Abstract

A growing ecological agriculture movement in Honduras is helping farmers increase yields and reduce production costs while safeguarding health and the environment. The National Association for the Promotion of Ecological Agriculture (ANAFAE) is leading this movement through on-farm participatory research. Twenty-five field schools have been established and 421 farmers (33 percent are women) have been carrying out on-farm research in three regions of Honduras. This one-page poster/summary provides information on farmer field schools.
