Abstract
The Mekong Delta Farming Systems Research and Development Institute (MDFSRDI) in Vietnam comprises the Farming Systems Research and Extension Network (FSRENET) and the Natural Resources Management Network (NAREMNET). This study used action/participatory research to improve understanding of individual and organisational capacity development efforts, and the tools for monitoring and evaluating these efforts, and their results. A methodology guide accompanies the narrative report of the MDFSRDI-community-based natural resources management (CBNRM) evaluation study. It provides details about the various tools designed, used and tested for carrying out the field work in Can Tho.
