Abstract
The project aimed to establish the Caribbean ICT stakeholders Virtual Community (CIVIC) forum as a mechanism to build a common vision/perspective on ICTs in the region, promote a Caribbean strategy, and foster regional Caribbeanwide actions that address critical development issues. This would support Caribbean stakeholders’ position at international meetings, enabling more focused attention on the peculiar challenges facing Caribbean countries, while lobbying with a coordinated voice for resources to address them. This is a detailed report on CIVIC activities.
