Abstract
Spinning the Web (STW) was an experiment for using technology to obtain and input more information from the global south on the Internet. The sustainable development (SD) Gateway was created to integrate partner knowledge bases, and provide a central navigation point in English, French and Spanish. Capacity-building activities allowed network members to share with other organizations what they learned about communications through their participation in substantive projects. This evaluation focuses on the Sustainable Development Communications Network (SDCN) itself, what the vision of members has been, and the network objectives and outcomes from the collaboration.
