Abstract
A framework was identified that will be used to conduct comparisons between eight watersheds. This is a report and update on activities of the Himalayan-Andes Project in a conference setting. Mountain ecosystems and watersheds were the focus, with delegates and presenters from Latin America and East Asia (Ecuador, Amazonian Andes, Bolivia, Bhutan, Nepal, China, Peru, Canada).
