Abstract

This publication tells the story of six of the Pan Asia Research and Development programme's awardees; their accomplishments, work and target beneficiaries. Some lessons are emerging from the projects funded so far which may help to establish and define the relationship between new technologies and development. Pan Asia Networking (PAN) ICT R&D Grants Programme aims to build institutional research capacity in the developing countries of the Asia Pacific region, in the area of Internet networking.
