Abstract

This case study uses the Social Analysis Systems (SAS) method to help identify stakeholders likely to be affected by or to influence project goals, project design and activities. Participating groups discussed the problems created by floods and landslides, their experience with efforts to create or support livelihoods that could reduce the risks and impacts of floods and landslides, and project goals and plans. Participants agreed on the final list of partners and felt the process had clarified the relationships among stakeholders and the project.

Description

SAS reports are made available in order to provide timely access to the information by interested researchers. This report has been subject to an internal review process to ensure accuracy and quality.
