Abstract
Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) efforts allow for integration of “good practices” in capacity building for Community-Based Natural Resources Management (CBNRM). An evaluative learning framework can enhance the existing pool of knowledge by offering valuable lessons and insights on effective strategies in capacity development; it also offers a critical outlook on issues in scaling up, sustainability, and institutionalization. The workshop brought together staff and students from the Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF), Vietnam, Jilin Agricultural University, Changchun, China (JLAU), and China Agricultural University, Beijing (CAU), China. The report covers workshop activities and outputs.
