Abstract
In British Columbia 56% of single parent mothers and 24% of senior women live below the poverty line. This paper itemizes how recent changes to health care impact women’s lives through implementation of user fees and premiums, so-called “fair” Pharmacare, privatization, cuts to assisted living, wage cuts, wage discrimination and job losses.
