Abstract:
The study maps out complex interactions between ongoing macro-scale processes, local development strategies, and the differential distribution of HIV/ AIDS vulnerabilities, as they relate to informal traders in the rapidly changing urban environment of Warwick Triangle Junction in Durban, South Africa. The report is organized according to four sections: a timeline and schedule of activities, reflections on the fieldwork process, applications and implications for the Ecohealth Approach, and a final discussion of overall strengths and limitations.
