Abstract
A pain specialist is leading a research team from Halifax, Canada, on a four−year project in Thailand where they will visit hospitals across the country, collaborating with health professionals to develop common practices for pain prevention and treatment for children. In Thailand resource issues complicate pain care and treatment available for children. Another problem is that pain can be difficult to recognize in children.
