Abstract

Report on energy production from biomass with particular reference to the needs of rural communities of developing countries - discusses the availability and productivity of biomass from tree species, grass, aquatic plants, animal and agricultural wastes; forest management, harvesting and transportation; appropriate technology for and technical aspects of conversion processes of biomass into thermal energy.
