Abstract:
Monograph outlining the forestry research projects supported by IDRC - describes the background and objectives of projects involving afforestation, reforestation and the use of shelterbelts in land reclamation; establishment of manmade forests and village woodlots, use of certain tree species in animal feed production, agricultural aspects of forest utilization; use of tropical timber as building material, development of suitable construction techniques.
