Abstract
IDRC personnel. Paper on the beliefs and attitudes that can affect the acceptance of family planning in Guadeloupe - discusses the purposes and research methods; positive influences, e.g. information dissemination on birth control methods by the Guadeloupe Family Planning Association, education, economic aspects of fertility control; and negative influences, e.g. lack of knowledge of contraception, psychologycal resistance by males and false beliefs concerning the use of contraceptives. Sample questionnaires.
