Abstract
Video consists of two parts: part one (Bela Horizante, ca. 12 min.) examines the problems associated with rapid industrial growth and a poor suburban population in the Brazilian city of Bela Horizante; part two (TV under the gun, ca. 12 min.) examines how Thai television stations overcame government-imposed censorship in broadcasting news events following the citizens' uprising against the military government in 1992.
