Abstract
Video consists of two parts: part one (Red star over Soweto, ca. 14 min.) examines the rise in popularity of Communism in South Africa, focusing on the former leader of the South African Communist Party, Joe Slovo; part two (ca. 10 min.) examines the use of theatre to educate children and adolescents in Zimbabwe about AIDS.
