Abstract

IDRC governor. Monograph on the political development and modernization of the Sarawak and Sabah states of Malaysia - discusses the development of Sabah and Sarawak from the time of their union with Malaysia in 1963, examining such aspects as the impact of central government from Malaysia on the two states, the formation and functioning of political partys, the political system, the elections of 1967 and 1969-70, public administration, and styles and strategies in politics.
